Everything about this session was amazing. The location that we went to, the grey sky was perfect for the kind of pictures that Josh wanted, the outfits he picked, etc. etc. This is just a sampling of some of the session from yesterday. Hope you like your pictures Josh!!

Kaden Turns 1!

I can't believe this little cutie is already 1!!! You may remember him from an earlier post when he was just a little thing, but now he's toddling around and so much fun! His first birthday party was so much fun too. Nick and Jen even had a tractor there for his "John Deere" themed party. Of course, I loved that for photos too!!

Senior Pictures: Audrey

What a FUN FUN day I had with Audrey! She has a beaming personality and was fearless when it came to climbing trees, walking down streams barefoot, etc. etc. for her senior pictures. Thanks for all the laughter and the smiles Audrey...and the great shots!!! I think you were made to be in front of the camera!

Mylee's 1st Birthday Collage

Mylee Turns 1!!!

You may remember this little cutie pie from an earlier picture on my website, but this time I got to do a whole session with her! In fact, I got to do a session with her PLUS photograph her first birthday party!!! She is just too precious, especially in her "Birthday Girl" dress, complete with pink tutu. Thank you for letting me be a part of Mylee's special birthday! (Check out the cake too. I think I know what Mara's 2nd birthday cake has to look like now!)

Married: Rebecca & Michael

What a beautiful couple...my best friend and the man of her dreams! Weddings aren't events that I normally photograph, but I made an exception for Rebecca. I spent the whole day with her, getting her hair and nails done, lunch before the wedding, and all the moments leading up to the "I Do's" to capture the usually "uncaptured" moments of the big day. I had a blast and she had a gorgeous wedding. Congratulations Rebecca and Michael!! I am so happy for both of you!!!!

Welcome Devin

I had the joy of taking pictures of two little guys during this session, newborn Devin and his older brother Derek. Derek had just turned 3 and was absolutely smitten with his little brother.







I did a mini-session with Derek to mark his 3rd birthday too. Check out his birthday gift!!

Baby "Bella"

Beautiful little Isabella was born 10 weeks early and had to stay in the hospital for a while until she was strong enough to come home. The day before she was released I got a phone call asking if I could come the next day for pictures!!! Of course, I was thrilled! Dave and Angela, you have an adorable little sweetheart of a daughter!!

After a bit of a break from posting on the web, I'm back, with a new website address, a new look to my site and a lot of new sessions to post! During my website break, I was not taking a photography break though. In fact, it was just the opposite! I was so busy with photography that I didn't have time to post my work. Now you will get to see what I've been doing this summer. This is the first post of a handful to come...

Senior Pictures

I went to a community park with Nathan yesterday and we had a blast taking senior pictures to mark his upcoming graduation. He was really easy-going about getting his pictures taken and was a lot of fun to work with. This guy has a great personality and I think we got some great pictures too!!! I have a lot of favorite pictures from the session, but these are at the top of my list...

The next two pictures have a little back-story behind them. After Nathan put his race gear on for his pictures we starting walking for a place to shoot and Leah (who was also with us) said, "How about, by that 5mph speed limit sign?" Of course, we all started laughing and I said, "Let's do it!" I was laughing so hard I could barely take the pictures.



Because of the fun we had with the speed limit sign, I had to have a little Photoshop fun with it too. Here is "Nate Dawg" appearing in his own comic book...



Leah was babysitting her friend's little girl that day so I got to snap a couple pictures of this cutie pie too!!! Here's little smiley Miley! Look at those gorgeous eyes!
